The Department of Religious Studies at Amman National School is based on a firm educational foundation that focuses on developing the students’ spiritual and moral senses away from prejudice and intolerance. It is established on discussion and on the development of academic thinking to ensure balance between spirituality and the application of modern scientific understanding. 
 
The department also focuses on accentuating our national heritage and its role in enriching knowledge of humanity with the purpose of molding strong and confident individuals capable of clear, open-minded thinking, and immune against the dangers of rigid conformity. We strive to instill these essences by presenting positive role-models in religion and moral conduct and addressing the students in a sound, rational manner/ methodology .
